Hey, thank you so much Lucas! Definitely good stuff there.

The only issue I am running into is the fact that I keep "killing" the trucks; the Uni Alphas have how much health, exactly? Sorry for the continued questions, but I just cant seem to get my hand on one.

Perhaps its because I switched over to Grenade Launchers; the nades that miss seem to invariably ram straight into the truck, doing 500-100 damage a time. I think that after 3-4 of those, the truck "breaks"; it would be nice to have some visual confirmation of this, but I wont complain. (brilliant beta as it is, I have no intention of bitching about something small like that)

But yeah, any tips on taking them out without doing massive damage to the tank thing would be great.

Last thing; the Qubba troops and the Liberation army are the only avaliable allies, right? I got Lois and a girl commander from the oil city down south, but other than that, I did not find any other willing fighters in the "free" states and the "slave" states of the south. Oh well. And those armies seem quite useless, as it seems that even one Federation army can take out all 5 invading Qubba armies in a single sweep. Bit disheartening, as my band of 22 soldiers can reliably hold there own against 2 groups, but 4? Dang, maybe, but with almost all my loved men dead or wounded beyond recognition...

Tips?
Hiding behind those 5 tile walls would sure get them moving away from the truck/tank :P

But otherwise--prioritize explosive weapon wielders with snipers and take out the rest with explosives. It's more on a hit/miss thing there...
But there are other trucks! :P

Though I find it quite grindy (unless there's a 'natural' source) to get the weapons needed (and the cash needed ._.) to field all the needed arsenal.

Also bug on that note?
The Liberation/Qubba army (more on the former) can get wiped out en route due to...hostile bandit spawns.
It is /very/ disappointing seeing them just wiped to random mooks.

But that's just my poke on the matter seeing as the future quest tree seems...unfurnished. Incomplete? The early quests seem to have more 'detail' in them or...more content, anyway, than the later quests. (I'd LOVE to visit the darn pirate city, but they hate me. Bleh. :v)

There're also out-of-the-way towns (like that one modeled along Kendo and peas...) which really spruce up the game. I'd love to see more content added to them.

**SPOILERS**
> Liberation Path.

The only allies I could find there that volunteered are:
- Spencer Rice
- Olaf (dohoho)
- Samantha Stone [Rebel Mechanic - certain dialogues]
- Sigurd [Ex-Military Sniper; Low Agi, 10 Acc; he was serious about the leg]
- Lois [Unsure if you should help Pullid camp or just defeat Regin's Gang; partly sure it's personal relationship+ related]

And merc recruiting from Federation Police is FUN.
On hard mode, it's like a 10/10/x/10 set of skills...with the only significantly noticeable fluid stat being accuracy.

I notice that game saving right now is a memory hog in Flash. According to the Firefox BetterPrivacy extension the size of saved games in Caravaneer 2 right now is 2084990, nothing else has a size greater than 695. There really needs to be a way to delete saved game files. Due to the game's crashes I also found that by right-clicking on the very bottom of the game screen the quality can be changed to Medium which seems to help somewhat.

You can expect to encounter groups average 2-5 members. They are rarely unarmed. They commonly use crossbows, rifles, pistols and SMG's. Also common are machetes and other close quarter weapons. Do not be surprised to find people wearing leather jackets.

You've got to get the other towns to band together and go to war. There are a few problems, though...

-Contact Lois
-Kivi are pacifists. They need a reason to fight. Find their messiah (Spencer Rice) and bring him to the Kivi camp.
-Go to Drekar camp and encourage them to kill Kukul
-Now that Kukul is gone, Pullid will fight alongside Kivi.
-Tell Kivi the negotiations were unsuccessful.

The Drekar will attack with 15 men. Most of them are using the Crossbow. Many of them are wearing Leather Jackets.

Once the game is finished, I would not be surprised if it had an option to download.

It's the second time I played and I haven't found much in the way of walkthroughs. I shall write my own, if that is alright with y'all =D
I am playing as a good guy.

In the bunker I gathered some food and water. Then I talked with everyone there. I went to Silos and exhausted all possible dialogue options. I did not bother with his insects. I went to Lintu and spoke with Kukul. I will worry about gathering his insects later. I bought food and water as well as all the wool I could carry. I sold the Wool in Pullid. Again, I exhausted all possible dialogue options there. I will bring the 5 Cleavers and 50 Crossbow Bolts to him later. I 2x the food I needed so as to avoid buying the expensive stuff in Lintu. I also bought more water containers. I went back to Lintu, hired someone and then I bought all the wool I could. I continued this wool trade between Lintu and Pullid while hiring as many people as I could. In under 30 minutes I had quite a lot of money.
I then began a new trade route. I bought Yarn in Pullid and sold it in Kivi. In Kivi, I bought wool (or shirts if they were available) and sold them in Pullid. Rinse and repeat for the desired effect =D

A special trade route that requires patience... because the cities run out of money to pay... buy colored shirts from the kivi, sell them in orth for 3 times as much money. If you supply just right the kivi with yarn, making money from selling wool to the pullid, and taking as many shirts as you can, you can easily make 500k with each trip. In the way you can buy and sell lubricant.
In my opinion, a download option, at least for the next version, would be good. That way, it would be easier to play the game for longer periods of time, and find more problems faster, if there's any.

I have to admit it's a good strategy. But as a lazy person as myself I don't bother with having a lot of people in my caravan to look after.

Small issue after you defeat drekar using kivi they quit making shirts completly and start making yarn instead and if you want to get shirts you have to shell out for the clothing industry. Just trying to help out so that plan of yours wont last forever

That didn't happen to me; they still make shirts. They just need more yarn, wich you can get from the Pullid. The yarn trade can be less profitable; even have a little loss, but the shirts are worth it.

Hey guys, I was playing last night and saved frequently. Today, though, I went to get back on and all of my saved data is gone. Is there any way to recover it?

Additionally, it was saving files locally on my computer. Where would those files be? I feel like I could find them and use them to get back on.

I haven't had much time to play the game, so I'm probably a bit late to the party. Anyways, I'm in the second region of the game and I understand (for the most part) what towns need what. However, the god damned AI controlled caravans manage to completely disrupt any sort of potential profit that I can make, with the exception of selling lubricant, skins, and shirts. So much leather is going to Fort Mitchell that the price of leather is lower that that of Orth. I can usually manage to turn a profit on what I buy, but doing so takes a long time. I probably can prioritize selling lubricant, but I fear that I will be flooding the market with lubricant. What should I do?
Also, I bought the pea industry in Araten, and I do not know how and where I should sell them to maximize profit.

The files are saved to the browser memory according to the browser you are using (not sure though :) ). If you lost them, then propably you can't recover them (the browser cleared the memory, maybe?).

To see where the files are saved on your pc, start a new game, choose save -> save locally (from the same browser you used) and in the window that pomps up to save your game see the directory path and follow it to find your files (if you didn't change it when you saved your game it should be there).
If you don't find it there use windows search for *.c2s files (the game's save files)

I lost the jacket industry when Kivi attacked Drekar, but because Kivi has a small yarn industry already (not large enough to support the jacket industry), Kivi started making large amounts of yarn, but didn't do anything with it. I realized that after I was forced to sell $10,000 worth of yarn, a lot at the time, at a huge loss

As you said, the trade in C2 is dynamic and constantly changes. Sometimes, it is worthy to stay a couple of days in a town so that the products are sold and the price rises again.
I have done this with selling clothes and it was totally worth it. I even stayed in a town for 2 weeks selling and waiting to make a profit of over 2 million. However if you have a big caravan staying idle is too source consuming and not worthing

For possible trade routes check the wiki (not complete yet):

Would selling such a large quantity of items run the risk of bankrupting a town? I'm always afraid of selling too much to any one city, because in Caravaneer 1, selling one too many pieces of jewelry would reduce the wealth of a town to 0.

If you don't sell the whole quantity at once and wait for a few days, the town regains its wealth.
For example I had camped outside Ozbet and Toowoomba for 3 weeks smuggling hashish and alcohol and made a profit of over 5 million (I was buying for 20 and selling for 1500-2000).
When the town reached zero money, I waited for 3-4 days and entered again to sell more. I repeated the process for 3-4 times and every time the town would regain its wealth in a week.
The time waiting was worth it, especially as I had many goats & sheeps to make milk and wool while waiting.

As far as i can tell there is only one way to progress the story if you don't know where Luis is.You have to go to his hut, read the file, tell the guy in the lintu camp (forgot name), tell drekar that he wants to attack them. you can chose many options but if you make the drekar kill only him, then go to the pullid camp, tell apis the other guy is gone he will decide to fight with the drekar.

Some tips for the "final battle"

I beat the federation armies with a party of 8 (the 5 volunteers + 2 mercs)
Firstly I recommend that your whole party needs to at least all be riding horses or you will be too slow to intercept the armies. The first battle is the hardest, you will need a few bazookas (5Ap shot, 7AP reload) and everyone should have rifles equipped as well. Try to kill off all their grenade launchers asap, i got lucky with their launchers missing most of my crew and my launches hitting theirs so i won the battle with only 1 merc dying. After the first battle loot all their grenade launchers and ammo for it and equip it onto all your guys. The grenade launchers do the same job as the bazookas but they have higher ammo capacity so i could have guys who could shoot 3 times in a turn. Most of my battles start off by shooting rockets aimed near their grenade launchers and using rifles to pick them off afterwards, once all the grenade launchers are dead the rest of the battle shouldn't be hard.
Anyway here's the important part
After each fight you will have loot screen. Just as you are about to press 'exit' on each loot screen, spam press 4 and the game will immediately pause when you enter back into travel mode. This gives you time to save the game and also to click the direction you want to move in to intercept the federation armies. By doing this if a battle goes wrong, you won't have to start all over again.

If you don't want to mash the pause button, there is a button in the Settings menu that automatically pauses your caravan when leaving town or after a battle, unless you travel using the map.
Also, can you really get through the game with only 8 people?

Yea I was playing on normal, not hard mode though. I find having too much people to be annoying to manage. I generally try to avoid fights against bandits unless I want to loot something from them. Most bandits in the game are slower than your caravan, the only bandit group I had trouble evading was the "mad dogs." You can always just train your guys at the police academy if you want to, I spent around 1m training my guys before fighting the federation.

Also, intelligence actually has a use!! My 1 intelligence affected my ending :(
